GTA 6 easter eggs and hidden details in the trailers

Short answer: The best-documented easter eggs link GTA 6 to Red Dead Redemption: a sticker in Trailer 1 looks like Everett Morgan, a Red Dead Online bounty target, and the banknotes in Trailer 2 show Presidents Hardin and Thaddeus Waxman from the Red Dead world. Trailer 1 also recreates famous real Florida viral videos. Everything here is fan-spotted from official footage; Rockstar doesn’t confirm easter eggs.

Is GTA 6 in the same universe as Red Dead?

Rockstar has kept the two series mostly apart, but the Red Dead presidents on GTA 6 money are the strongest hint yet that they share a history. Rockstar hasn’t commented. Theories that Jason is related to Arthur Morgan are pure speculation.

Tommy Vercetti nods

Rockstar itself references the 2002 game: the pre-order bonus includes a weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s palm-tree shirt, and the Ultimate Edition revolver is “sourced from the Vercetti Estate”. Whether Tommy appears in GTA 6 is a separate question: see Is Tommy Vercetti in GTA 6?
