| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Cheat codes confirmed? | Not announced |
| Cheats in past GTA games? | Yes. GTA V used button combinations and phone numbers. |
| Cheat downloads or mod menus? | Fake or unsafe. Avoid them. |
How cheats worked before
In GTA V, players entered button sequences or dialled numbers on the in-game phone for things like weapons, health or vehicles. Cheats usually disabled trophies and achievements for that session. Rockstar hasn’t said whether GTA 6 will work the same way.
Avoid “cheat” scams
- “GTA 6 money generators” and mod menus steal accounts.
- Cheat apps for phones contain malware.
- Real cheats, if any, will be typed in the game itself. See our scam guide.
Coming after launch
