GTA 6 pre-load starts 10 November
Short answer: Rockstar says digital pre-loading for GTA 6 now starts on Tuesday 10 November, two days earlier than first listed. On PS5 it opens at midnight local time; on Xbox Series X|S it opens worldwide at 12 a.m. GMT. The pre-load needs up to 212 GB. The game unlocks on 19 November.

TelegramUpdate (3 Nov 2026): Official PlayStation Blog also confirmed PS5 pre-download from 10 November. Metro and GamesRadar note the paper map is not inside boxed copies this time: the cover-art and map poster is a separate $1 item on Rockstar’s store (via PlayStation Blog).

- Boxed copies: the code-in-box editions reach retailers from 12 November.
- File size: up to 212 GB, depending on your console. Earlier reports said about 210 GB for PS5.
- Extra: a double-sided poster of the cover art and the map of Leonida on Rockstar’s store, $1 on its own or free with another purchase.
