Mount Kalaga National Park in GTA 6: hunting, trails and the wild north

Short answer: Mount Kalaga National Park is GTA 6’s wild northern region, based on north Florida forests like Ocala National Forest. Rockstar’s tagline is “Wild, Wild Country”: prime hunting, fishing and off-road trails, with backwoods full of mystics and paranoid radicals.

What Mount Kalaga is like

Mount Kalaga is a national park in the far north of Leonida. It is the most rural part of the map: forests, rivers and rough trails, far from Vice City. Rockstar says its backwoods are home to people who want nothing to do with the government.

It looks set to be GTA 6’s answer to Mount Chiliad in GTA V, and fans expect plenty of mysteries here.

Things to do in Mount Kalaga

Hunting. Rockstar calls it prime hunting ground.
Fishing and kayaking. Shown in official screenshots.
Off-road trails. 4x4s and dirt bikes.
Wildlife. GTA 6 lets you study and log animals, as in Red Dead Redemption 2.

What we don’t know yet

Rockstar has not said whether there is a real mountain to climb, or how big the park is. Leaked material mentions a “Lummox County” in the north, but that is not confirmed.
