Rockstar’s NDA was stricter than Marvel’s

Short answer: Roger Clark, the voice of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, told a fan convention panel that Rockstar’s actor NDA was stricter than Marvel’s. It helps explain why GTA 6’s cast is still secret three weeks before launch.

What Roger Clark said

Clark said that after RDR2 was finished, his co-star Benjamin Byron Davis compared his Rockstar contract with the Marvel contract of his friend Chris Pratt (Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy). The pair agreed Rockstar’s was the tougher of the two. “Our NDAs were so strict,” Clark said.

Is this real? Yes, reported by major outlets

Who said it: Roger Clark at a fan convention panel, reported by GameByte. Sources: GameByte. Our view: Clark is talking about Red Dead Redemption 2, not GTA 6, but it matches how quiet GTA 6’s actors have been. Checked: 30 Oct 2026.

What it means for GTA 6

Rockstar has not published a GTA 6 cast list. Actors linked to the game, like Rob Brinkmann, deny or avoid the topic. Only Stephen Root has said on camera that he is in the game. Strict NDAs are the likely reason. See the GTA 6 voice actors page for what is known.
