GTA 6 Gets a CERO Z (18+) Rating in Japan
Short answer: GTA 6 is listed with the CERO Z (18+) rating on the Japanese PlayStation and Xbox stores. Z is Japan’s highest rating and sales are restricted to adults. It does not by itself show whether the Japanese version will have content changes.

TelegramWhat the rating means
TwistedVoxel reports the CERO Z rating now appears on the Japanese PlayStation and Xbox Stores. CERO has five categories, A, B, C, D and Z, and Z means sales are restricted to people aged 18 and over. Notebookcheck notes GTA 4 and GTA 5 got the same rating, and some earlier GTA releases had changes for Japan, such as removed graphic violence.
Notebookcheck also notes the Japan build size on Xbox catalog data differs slightly, which it says could hint at changes, but that is speculation. The store listings do not say whether content will be altered.
