GTA 6 phone and apps explained Snapmatic, WAINK, Ryde Me

Short answer: The phone is now a real object: Jason or Lucia pulls it out and the camera zooms in, instead of a menu in the corner. Confirmed apps so far: Snapmatic (browse social media, but you can’t post because you’re on the run), WAINK (scan a car’s value, lock, alarm and tracker before stealing it) and Ryde Me (a rideshare app used for fast travel). The full app list will be known at launch.

Why you can’t post on Snapmatic

Jason and Lucia are fugitives and want to avoid a digital trail, so they only scroll. Being careless online is linked to the wanted system in previews.

Fast travel by phone

Instead of teleporting, you book a ride with Ryde Me. See is there fast travel in GTA 6.

What about the leaked apps?

Lists of apps from the 2022 leak (bank, dating, food delivery) are old test builds. Rockstar has not confirmed them, so we don’t list them as real.
