Does GTA 6 have a first-person mode? Not at launch
Short answer: Probably not at launch. Rockstar North’s co-studio head Rob Nelson told previewers that GTA 6 is built around a third-person camera, and the Extended Look shows no first-person gameplay, only a first-person view through binoculars. Rockstar could add a mode later: GTA 5 got first-person in its 2014 re-release, a year after launch.

How Rockstar handled it before
- GTA 5 launched in 2013 with no first-person mode. Rockstar added it in the PS4/Xbox One version in November 2014.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 had first-person at launch.
So a later update or a future re-release could add it, but nobody has promised that.
