PS5 Pro hits €1,599 before GTA 6
Short answer: Some online sellers in Germany now ask up to €1,599 for a PS5 Pro, almost double Sony’s €899 price, as GTA 6 gets close. PlayFront found the console can still be bought at €899 in some local stores and in small Sony drops.

German site PlayFront reported on 1 Nov 2026 that PS5 Pro prices in online shops have shot up in the weeks before GTA 6 launches on 19 November. Some sellers now list the console at €1,599, and offers above €1,500 are no longer rare.
On the price site Idealo, the cheapest PS5 Pro was €1,375 from an eBay reseller. About 80 days ago the lowest price was €879.04, so the price rose by almost €500 in a few months. The 93-day average of €1,093.22 is also well above Sony’s official price of €899.

Why it matters for GTA 6
- Retailer bundles: PlayFront says Dutch retailer Coolblue already asked at least €1,299 for PS5 Pro bundles with accessories in early October, saying the official price no longer matches real stock.
- Stock is not gone: a PlayFront editor checked MediaMarkt store stock and found a PS5 Pro at the €899 price in a local store.
- Sony drops: Sony’s own store still adds small batches at the official price from time to time.
