How does the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition gift card trick work?
Reported GTA 6 Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 on the US PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Retailers sometimes sell $100 store gift cards for less. Redeem the card on your account and use the credit to pre-order, and you pay less than $99.99 for the same edition.
| Deal | How it works | Status |

Is this real? Reported, but not confirmed by Rockstar yet
Who said it: Mashable, Windows Central, Notebookcheck, Beebom. Sources: Mashable, Windows Central, Notebookcheck, Beebom. Our view: The gift card trick is real, but each deal has its own end date and stock. Check the price before you buy. Checked: 29 Oct 2026.
Is the Ultimate Edition worth it?
Ultimate Edition locks five extra in-game features behind its price, including Vehicle Mod Shops and Clothing Shops, plus bonus content. Compare both editions first: GTA 6 Standard vs Ultimate, GTA 6 price in your country and how to pre-order. Only buy gift cards from big, known retailers; never from random sellers or “free code” offers.
