GTA 6 Ads in Miami Use Parody Brands Instead of Showing the Game

Short answer: Creative Bloq says the cleverest GTA VI ads in Miami do not show the game at all. They use in-game parody brands like Crowex, Beige and Kronos on billboards, kiosks and a bus wrap. Rockstar has not commented; the attribution rests on the outlet and fan posts.

What the ads look like

Creative Bloq (8 November, by Joe Foley) describes Miami placements that use in-universe brands instead of gameplay. A tour bus wrap reportedly shows Vice City Narcos, Beige Shapewear, Crowex and Taco Bomb, parodies of the Miami Heat, SKIMS, Rolex and Taco Bell. Kiosks, including in Wynwood, carry lines like “Go Topless” and “Suddenly You Are Big Enough”. There are also Kronos watch ads (“Always come early”), Crowex and Dix displays, a Kaseya Center takeover with Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell, and a cartoon ad reading “Coming November 19 on Weazel”.

The outlet argues this avoids game-ad fatigue, rewards fans who recognise the brands and carries GTA’s satire. It also notes some ads show only a small logo and QR code, which some find unclear.
