Who is Macca the Gator? And what is the Goodtime State?
Short answer: Macca the Gator (also called Macca the Alligator) is a cartoon alligator from Leonida’s hit TV show in GTA 6, and the state’s mascot in Rockstar’s artwork. “The Goodtime State” is Leonida’s nickname, Rockstar’s twist on Florida’s “Sunshine State”. You can wear Macca in-game with the Ultimate Edition’s Goodtime Gear, and in real life on official merch.

Why an alligator?
Alligators are a symbol of Florida, and they appear all over Leonida, especially in the Grassrivers swamps. Macca is Rockstar’s satirical take on state mascots and kids’ TV characters, in the same spirit as GTA 5’s fictional shows and brands.
Where to get Macca stuff
- In the game: Ultimate Edition (Goodtime Gear).
- In real life: official GTA 6 merch, including the Macca the Gator Tee.
