GTA 6 weapons: every gun shown so far

Short answer: Rockstar hasn’t published a full weapon list. From the trailers and screenshots we’ve counted about 19 guns: pistols, SMGs, rifles, shotguns, a sniper, a light machine gun, a grenade launcher and a minigun. You can carry two handguns and two long guns, and the Ultimate Edition adds three personal pistols.

Most names are what the gun looks like in real life. Rockstar hasn’t published official names or stats, so we don’t list damage or range numbers.

How many guns can you carry?

Based on previews of the Extended Look: two concealed handguns and two long guns. Only one long gun fits on your back, so the second one is carried in your hands, and people around you react to it. Spare guns go in your vehicle or a weapon locker; only your personal vehicle keeps your full loadout. Reported Full details: GTA 6 weapon carry limit.

Is there still a weapon wheel?

Yes. The Extended Look shows a weapon wheel with Unarmed, binoculars and a pistol, and you can grab guns that enemies drop. Reported

Bonus weapons and skins

  • Pre-order bonus: a tropical palm-tree weapon pattern for most guns, in the Vintage Vice City Pack. Official
  • Ultimate Edition: the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver, plus a personal Girardi ES9 (Jason) and Klose K17 (Lucia). Official

Where do you buy guns?

Ammu-Nation is back. Trailer 2 shows “Phil’s Ammu-Nation” with its owner holding a machine gun. Fans think he is Phil Cassidy from older games, but Rockstar hasn’t confirmed it. See other GTA 6 characters.

What we’ll add after launch

Official weapon names, every Ammu-Nation price and where to find rare guns. Until then, ignore “full weapon lists” with stats: they come from guesses or the 2022 leak.
