Who is Cal Hampton?

Cal is the friend who never wants to leave the house. Rockstar’s profile paints him as someone who distrusts everyone, likes a cold beer, and has his ear on the Coast Guard’s radio traffic at all times.

What Cal does and why he matters

In a region built on smuggling, knowing where the Coast Guard is going is valuable. That is likely why he works with Brian Heder, the Keys’ old-school drug runner, and why he is useful to Jason.

Expect him to be a source of tips, warnings and comic relief, in the tradition of characters like Lester in GTA V. Rockstar has not confirmed which missions, if any, he gives.

Cal’s skills

  • Radio scanning and surveillance
  • Local knowledge of the Keys
  • A deep, if unreliable, supply of theories
